RESULT OF GENERAL MEETING, PLACING AND TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS
The Board of African Eagle Resources plc ("African Eagle" or the "Company") is
pleased to announce that its Placing of 88 million Ordinary Shares ("Placing
Shares") at 3.75p per Ordinary Share to raise GBP3.3 million (before expenses)
has been successfully completed, with all resolutions passed at the General
Meeting held earlier today.
Application has been made for admission of the Placing Shares to trade on AIM
and AltX which is expected to take place on 1 October 2010.
Following the issue of the Placing Shares there will be 384,762,128 Ordinary
Shares in issue. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, African Eagle under the
FSA`s Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
