Board changes
The company is pleased to announce that Edwin Oblowitz has been appointed as
independent non-executive director of TFG with immediate effect.
Edwin is a chartered accountant and current CEO of Stonehage Financial Services
(Pty) Ltd and serves as an independent non-executive director of a number of
other listed companies. He also has experience as an independent consultant and
some 21 years experience in professional practice with Arthur Andersen,
ultimately serving as senior partner of the Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth
offices, a position he left in 2001.
In addition to his appointment to the Board, Edwin has also been appointed a
member of the Audit Committee where he is expected to make a significant
contribution through his skills and experience.
This appointment has received the unanimous approval of the Nominations
Committee and the Board.
