Appointment of independent non-executive director
Keaton Energy shareholders are advised of the appointment of Mr Paul Sadler as
an independent non-executive director to the board of Keaton Energy with effect
from 1 October 2010.
Mr Sadler has extensive auditing experience, much of which involved the mining
sector, and thus brings valuable expertise to the board. He was a partner at
auditing firm KPMG from 1980 until his retirement in 2003, after which he joined
the Salene Group as a financial consultant. During his auditing career he was
involved with various mining companies including De Beers, Aquarius and
Barplats. Post retirement, he was a member of the Audit Committee of Barplats
Investments Limited for two years.
