Trading statement in respect of the six months ended 31 August 2010
Famous Brands Group`s results for the six months ended 31 August 2010 will be
released on SENS on 25 October 2010. In terms of the Listings Requirements of
the JSE Limited, a listed company is required to publish a trading statement
as soon as a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results
for the period to be reported on next will differ by at least 20% from those
of the previous corresponding period.
The Group expects that headline earnings per share (HEPS), diluted HEPS,
earnings per share (EPS) and diluted EPS (calculated on an IFRS basis) for the
six months ended 31 August 2010 are likely to be between 109 cents per share
and 116 cents per share, 20% and 25% higher than the comparable period in
2009.
