SANTAM LIMITED - APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
In terms of paragraph 3.59 of the Listing Requirements of the JSE Limited,
shareholders are advised of the following important changes to the board of
directors:
Appointment
Mr Bruce Campbell has been appointed to the Santam Limited board as an
Independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 04 October 2010. Bruce
has a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Leadership from the University
of Natal and the University of South Africa, respectively. He is an
Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute ACII (London) as well as a
Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute FCII (London).
Bruce has 39 years working experience within the Short-Term Insurance
industry and was the past Chief Executive Officer of Mutual and Federal
Insurance Company Limited. In 2007 he joined the Alexander Forbes Group as
the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
We look forward to Bruce`s contribution to Santam Limited as an Independent
Non-Executive Director.
