Voluntary Announcement: Trustco Mobile (Pty) Ltd Agreement
Shareholders are referred to the SENS announcements dated 21 September 2010 and
30 September 2010, regarding the proposed agreement between the Company`s
subsidiary, Trustco Mobile (Pty) Ltd, Econet Wireless (Private) Ltd and First
Mutual Life Assurance Company (Pty) Ltd ("the Parties") ("the Agreement").
Consequent upon the approval by the Commissioner of Insurance, Pension and
Provident Funds in Zimbabwe, the Parties implemented the Agreement with effect
from 7 October 2010.
The Company anticipates that the implementation of the Agreement will contribute
positively to the Group`s micro-insurance segment.
