RESULTS OF GENERAL MEETING
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on the Securities
Exchange News Service on 20 August 2010 and the circular to shareholders
dated 17 September 2010 ("the Circular") wherein they were advised of the
terms of the BEE Transactions proposed by the company.
Shareholders are advised that at the general meeting held today, 11 October
2010, all of the special and ordinary resolutions, required to implement the
BEE Transactions, set out in the Circular and proposed at the meeting were
passed by the requisite majority of Simeka shareholders.
The special resolutions will be lodged for registration with the Companies
and Intellectual Property Registration office in due course.
The board and management wish to thank shareholders for their support.
