TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited ("JSE"), companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a
reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period
to be reported on will differ by 20% or more from the financial results for the
previous corresponding period.
Shareholders are advised that Ansys is currently in the process of finalising
its interim results for the six months ended 31 August 2010. Ansys will reflect
a basic and headline earnings per share of between 0.19 cents and 0.23 cents (31
August 2009: basic and headline loss per share of 1.0 cents) for the six months
ended 31 August 2010.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors. The company`s results for the
six months ended 31 August 2010 are expected to be released on SENS by the
beginning of November 2010.
