APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Clicks Group announces the appointment of Michael Fleming as Chief Financial
Officer.
He will join the Clicks Group in February 2011 as Chief Financial Officer
designate and will succeed Keith Warburton after a short transition period.
Michael (43) is currently the Chief Financial Officer and an executive director
of Tiger Brands Limited.
David Kneale, Chief Executive Officer, said: "We are pleased to have attracted
an executive of Michael`s calibre and background to the group. He has a proven
track-record in financial management and has had extensive exposure to the FMCG
sector. He has operated at a senior level in a JSE top 40 company and this will
stand him in good stead in his new role."
Background information on Michael Fleming:
Michael qualified as a chartered accountant in 1994. He joined the Tiger Brands
group in 2000 and has held various financial and commercial positions over the
past 10 years. Michael was appointed as financial executive of the Tiger Brands
consumer brands division in 2005 and promoted to Chief Financial Officer of
Tiger Brands Limited in June 2008.
