Telkom launches its mobile service - 8.ta
Telkom announces the launch of its new mobile service branded 8ta. 8ta will
offer prepaid voice and data products from launch. Postpaid voice, data and
hybrid products will be made available in November 2010.
Telkom Group Acting CEO Mr Jeffrey Hedberg said the launch of 8ta is a
watershed event for Telkom. "We are able to mobilise the reliability of fixed-
line and the agility of mobile to provide products that South African people
really want."
