VOLUNTARY TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required
to publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that
the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by at least
20% or more from those of the previous corresponding period. CIC`s financial
results will not differ by more than 20% when compared to the previous
corresponding period, however for the sake of good corporate governance CIC has
elected to release this voluntary trading statement.
Accordingly shareholders are hereby advised that the earnings per share and
headline earnings per share for the six months ended 31 August 2010 are expected
to be between 3% and 9% higher than for the six month period ended 31 August
2009.
The financial information on which this voluntary trading statement is based has
not been reviewed or reported on by CIC`s auditors.
The results for the six months ended 31 August 2010 are expected to be announced
on SENS on or before 29 October 2010.
