TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a
reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the
period to be reported upon next will differ by at least 20% from the financial
results for the previous corresponding period.
Accordingly, shareholders are advised that, for the year ended 31 August 2010,
CIG anticipates basic earnings per share to be between 50% and 55% higher and
headline earnings per share to be between 45% and 50% higher than the previous
corresponding period.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not
been reviewed or reported on by CIG`s auditors.
The annual financial results announcement is expected to be released on SENS
on or about 28 October 2010.
