1. Update re operations
Shareholders are referred to the previous update issued on 12 October 2010.
The Umlabu mine, which was on care and maintenance, has now recommenced
with normal operations. As previously reported, the loan obtained from JSW
Energy Limited was utilised to assist the company in recommencing
operations on the mine.
2. Further cautionary announcement
Although the trading in the company`s shares on the JSE is still suspended,
shareholders are advised to continue exercising caution when dealing in the
company`s securities until a further announcement is made in respect of the
offer.
3. CEO position
The company expects to announce the appointment of a new Chief Executive
Officer during November 2010 after all the board processes have been
completed.
