TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are required
to publish a trading statement as soon as they are satisfied that a reasonable
degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period to be
reported upon next will differ by at least 20% from the financial results for
the previous corresponding period even if it does not have the reasonable
certainty in terms of providing a range. A further announcement will then be
required once it has certainty on the range.
Accordingly, UCS shareholders are advised that the Group has reasonable
certainty that the Group`s earnings for the year ended 30 September 2010 will be
more than 20% higher than the previous year.
The Group will issue a further announcement once it has achieved certainty
regarding the range of expected profitability.
It is anticipated that the results for the year ended 30 September 2010 will be
published on or about 23 November 2010.
This trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on by the Group`s
auditors.
