NO CHANGE STATEMENT AND NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Shareholders are advised that, effective 28 October 2010, the Company`s annual
financial statements for the year ended 27 June 2010 are available on their
website (www.massmart.co.za). The annual financial statements contain no
modifications to the reviewed consolidated results, which were published on 26
August 2010. The Company`s auditors, Deloitte & Touche, have audited the annual
financial statements and their unqualified report is available for inspection at
the Company`s registered office. The annual financial statements will be posted
today, Thursday, 28 October 2010, to shareholders who have elected to receive
them. Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of the Company will
be held on Wednesday, 24 November 2010 at 08:30 at Massmart House, 16 Peltier
Drive, Sunninghill Ext 6, Sandton, to transact the business as stated in the
notice of the annual general meeting.
