PICK N PAY APPOINTS CUSTOMER DIRECTOR
Pick n Pay announced this morning that after nearly 10 years as Marketing
Director, Jonathan Ackerman would move to a newly created position of Customer
Director. This new position would enable even greater focus on the founding
principle of Pick n Pay, being Consumer Sovereignty - addressing all issues
pertaining to customer service and customer needs.
Said Pick n Pay Chief Executive Officer, Nick Badminton: "Jonathan has done
great work during his tenure as Marketing Director, including, amongst many
others, leading the very successful brand change, launching Fresh Living
magazine and television show, as well as ensuring the success of a significant
number of professionally run events such as the annual Pick n Pay Argus Cycle
Tour and the Knysna Oyster Festival.
"We believe that this new position will enable Pick n Pay to utilise Jonathan`s
exceptional talents in customer engagement, together with his marketing
expertise, to allow us even greater and very engaged focus on the customer and
all areas pertaining to Customer service. Jonathan is perfectly placed to
continue adding to his list of achievements in this new, challenging and
exciting position."
