REVISED TRADING UPDATE
In terms of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, companies are required to
publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that the
financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by more than 20%
from the previous corresponding period.
Further to the trading update released on SENS on 6 October 2010, a review of
the financial results for the year ended 30 June 2010 by management has
indicated that SA French will report a net asset value and net tangible asset
value of between 26.48 and 32.82 cents per share compared to the net asset value
and net tangible asset value of 31.70 cents per share for the year ended 30 June
2009.
It is anticipated that a loss per share of between 2.33 and 3.57 cents and a
headline loss per share of between 1.72 and 3.04 cents for the year ended 30
June 2010 will be reported, compared to the loss per share of 6.60 cents and the
headline loss per share of 7.00 cents for the year ended 30 June 2009.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the company`s auditors. SA French`s financial results
are expected to be released on SENS on or about 29 October 2010.
