Shareholders of Pioneer Foods and KWV Holdings are referred to their respective
recent cautionary announcements dated 30 September 2010 and 13 October 2010.
Accordingly, shareholders of Pioneer Foods and KWV Holdings are advised that
Pioneer Foods has approached KWV Holdings with the view to possibly acquire KWV
Holdings or concluding a similar transaction. There can be no certainty that
these discussions will lead to a transaction. If successfully concluded, the
proposed transaction may have a material effect on the Pioneer Foods and KWV
Holdings share prices.
Shareholders of Pioneer Foods and KWV Holdings are advised to continue to
exercise caution when dealing in their shares until a further announcement is
made. Pioneer Foods and KWV Holdings will revert to shareholders on further
