In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited,
the board of directors of KCM hereby notifies its shareholders that the
subcontractor working on its Bo Karoo mining site recovered a 27 carat light
pink diamond yesterday. After the cleaning process the diamond will be placed on
tender. In terms of the subcontractors agreement KCM will receive a royalty of
15% of the gross selling price of the diamond.
