APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,
Sovereign is pleased to announce the appointment of Messrs Thomas Pritchard and
John Bester as independent non-executive directors of Sovereign and as members
of the Company`s audit committee, with immediate effect.
Thomas Pritchard is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and has a wealth of experience
across a broad spectrum of businesses. He has served as financial director to
several organisations in the past years.
John Bester is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and has extensive experience in the
financial services, insurance and distribution and manufacturing sectors in
South Africa. He has served and still chairs the audit committees of several
companies.
