CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND COMPANY SECRETARY
In accordance with Section 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements in
respect of a change to the board of directors and company secretary,
Brimstone shareholders are informed that:
- Mr Philip Leon Campher, currently an independent non-executive director
has been appointed as the lead independent director of Brimstone; and
- Mrs Tiloshani Moodley has been appointed as company secretary of
Brimstone replacing Mr Michael O`Dea.
The above appointments have been made with immediate effect.
Mr Campher currently holds the following directorships: ASISA (Association
for Savings and Investment SA), International Investment Fund Association,
Sun International, Brimstone, Amalgamated Appliances, SAFCOM and STRATE. He
also serves on the Directorate of Market Abuse, Financial Markets Advisory
Board, BUSA Council, Nedlac Executive Committee and the Financial Sector
Charter Council.
In addition, the following executive appointments have been made:
- Mr Mohamed Iqbal Khan has been appointed as Chief Information Officer of
Brimstone;
- Mr Michael O`Dea has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of
Brimstone; and
- In July this year, Messrs Gerhard Kotze and Sebastian Patel were
appointed as Managing Executives. They have significant corporate
finance experience and will be focusing on evaluating prospective
investment opportunities for Brimstone as well as helping to manage the
company`s current investments.
Professor Jakes Gerwel, Chairman, commented:
