In accordance with the provisions of paragraph 3.59(a) of the Listings
Requirements of the JSE Limited, Ms BA Mabuza and Mr CT Vorster have been
appointed as non-executive directors of AFGRI with effect from 15 November 2010.
The directors were nominated to the board by Agri Sizwe (AFGRI`s empowerment
partners) in terms of the Agri Sizwe Partnership Agreement.
Ms Busi Mabuza has extensive experience in fundraising, investor relations,
portfolio management and business strategy. Busi holds a MBA in Finance and
Information Systems as well as a BA in Mathematics and Computer Science. Busi
currently serves as a director on the Central Energy Fund, the Strategic Fuel
Fund and the Minerals and Energy Education and Training Institute.
Mr Theo Vorster is the CEO and founding member of Galileo Capital. Theo has
extensive experience in wealth management, short term insurance, stock broking,
corporate finance and commercial property portfolio management. Theo holds a
BCom (Law) and BCom (Hons) in Investment Management and completed the JSE
Membership Examination.
The Board welcomes both the directors to the board.
