RESULTS OF THE RIGHTS OFFER
Shareholders are referred to the rights offer to Buildmax shareholders which
closed on Friday, 12 November 2010 (the "rights offer") and are advised that
shareholders and/or their renouncees applied for and have been allocated a total
of 2 366 327 463 new Buildmax ordinary shares equivalent to 98.4% of the total
number of shares offered in terms of the rights offer. Accordingly, the number
of shares available after the allotment and issue to shareholders is 37 688 798,
which shares will be taken up in equal proportions by the underwriters.
The accounts of dematerialised shareholders were debited and updated by their
Central Securities Depository Participant/broker on Monday, 15 November 2010 and
certificated shareholders will have certificates posted to them on or about on
Wednesday, 17 November 2010.
