Update to Shareholders
Shareholders are advised that the consortium of banks who previously funded the
Company and its subsidiaries ("the Group") has taken steps to perfect its
securities over the assets of the Group.
Consequently the Group is no longer in a position to trade and the directors
have instructed all the companies in the Group to cease all trading and any
other activities.
Consideration is being given to finding resolution to the current position and
avoiding the loss of over a thousand jobs.
Under the circumstances, the board has requested suspension of trading in the
company`s shares on the JSE Limited, which will be granted immediately.
