NEW APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The board of directors of Pretoria Portland Cement Company Limited ("PPC")
is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Bridgette Modise to the board of
directors with effect from 1 December 2010.
Ms Modise is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants
and of the Certified Institute of Management and has 15 years of experience in
the audit profession.
Ms. Modise has been appointed as an independent non-executive director of PPC
and also as a member of the Audit Committee of the Board.
The Board believes that Ms Modise`s experience and qualifications will add
significantly to the Board`s deliberations.
