TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited ("JSE Listings
Requirements"), companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as
they become aware that the financial results for the period to be reported upon
next will differ by at least 20% from the previous corresponding period.
Simeka accordingly advises that for the 6 month period ended 30 November 2010
("the interim period") the company expects:
- revenue to be between 5% and 10% higher than for the 6 month period ended
30 November 2009;
- earnings per share to be between 110% and 120% higher than for the 6 month
period ended 30 November 2009; and
- headline earnings per share to be between 3% and 5% higher than for the 6
month period ended 30 November 2009.
The financial results on which this trading statement has been based have not
been reviewed by the company`s auditors.
The unaudited financial results of the company will be published on SENS on or
about 28 February 2011.
