Notification of Directors` and PDMRs` share dealings pursuant to DTR 3.1.4 R
Lonmin Plc (the "Company") was notified on 9 December 2010 by the Trustee of the
Lonmin Employee Benefit Trust that the awards made on 5 December 2007 under the
Deferred Annual Bonus Plan reached their maturity on 5 December 2010. As a
consequence:
(a) The participants` Invested Shares (being ordinary shares of $1 each in the
Company purchased in December 2007 (the "Shares")) were transferred into their
own names on 8 December 2010;
(b) The shares comprised in the 1:1 Matched Award (on an after-tax basis) for
those Shares acquired mandatorily and at risk of forfeiture during the deferral
period vested in full and were released to participants; and
(c) The shares comprised in the 1:1 Matched Award (on an after-tax basis) for
all Shares acquired, which was subject to performance conditions, did not vest
and the award has lapsed.
Certain of the participants elected to sell some of the shares resulting from
these transactions, principally to fund the tax and other liabilities arising.
This took place in the London or Johannesburg markets on 8 December 2010, as
detailed below
