Change in Directorate
As part of the dual listed company structure, Investec plc and Investec Limited
notify both the London Stock Exchange and the JSE Limited of matters which are
required to be disclosed under the Disclosure, Transparency and Listing Rules of
the United Kingdom Listing Authority (the "UKLA") and/or the JSE Listing
Requirements.
Accordingly, we advise in accordance with Section 3.59 of the JSE Limited
Listing Requirements and Rule 9.6.11 of the UK Listing Rules:
DIRECTORATE CHANGES
Alan Tapnack, an Executive Director since July 2002, will retire from the boards
of Investec plc and Investec Limited (the "Boards") with effect from 15 December
2010.
At the same time, Hendrik du Toit, Chief Executive Officer of Investec Asset
Management, will be appointed to the Boards as an Executive Director.
Save for Hendrik du Toit`s directorships as listed in the notes, there are no
further details required to be disclosed by Rule 9.6.13 of the UK Listing Rules.
