APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN
Sea Kay is pleased to announce the appointment of Landiwe J Mahlangu as non-

Landiwe will be able to provide strong leadership and direction to the group to
promote future growth.
Landiwe has a very strong academic background and significant financial
experience.
He currently serves as the chairperson of the Municipal Demarcation Board of
South Africa and has the following academic qualifications: B. Admin (University
of Zululand); Hons. B. Admin Economics (UNISA); MSc (Macroeconomic Policy and
Planning) from University of Bradford (UK), a Higher Certificate in Financial

Johannesburg) and the Executive Development Program (University of the
Witwatersrand Business School).
Landiwe was previously Divisional Executive for the Operations Evaluation Unit
("OEU") of the Development Bank of Southern Africa ("DBSA"). The OEU is an
independent office within DBSA, reporting directly to the DBSA board, whose
objective is to promote a results-based management approach in DBSA. As head of
this unit, it was Landiwe`s responsibility to develop and implement monitoring
and evaluation frameworks throughout DBSA. In this capacity, he served on the
main board and management committees of DBSA, including the Investment
Committee, the Corporate Credit Committee, the Knowledge Committee and the
Development Interventions Committee.
Prior to this position, Landiwe worked as Head of Operations, Credit
Administration and as an economist at DBSA. As head of credit he was able to
increase the DBSA municipal loan book to approximately R7 billion, which now
constitutes about 60% of all outstanding advances by DBSA. Landiwe was involved
in key ground-breaking projects, which included leading an evaluation of the
Lesotho Highland Water Project Phase 1(B), the management of the Electricity
Distribution Restructuring Project and conceptualising the Labour Job Creation
Trust Fund.
Sea Kay welcomes Landiwe in this leading role, and wishes him a very positive
and fulfilling relationship with the company.
