Mrs Connie Nkosi is resigning, with effect from 31 December 2010, as a non-
executive director of Pick n Pay Stores Limited, as well as from the Ackerman
Pick n Pay Foundation and the Pick n Pay Employees Share Trust. Mrs Nkosi has
been on the board of Pick n Pay for sixteen years, during which time she has
made a valuable contribution to the company, generously sharing her business
expertise. Mrs Nkosi had informed Pick n Pay that she would be resigning with
effect from mid-2011, but has now decided to bring this date forward to allow
herself time to concentrate on developing her own business interests. Pick n Pay
extends its gratitude to Mrs Nkosi for the sixteen years of excellent service
and wishes her every success in her business ventures.
