CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,
Foord Compass is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr AD Cowell as an
independent, non-executive director to the board of directors.
Adam is a Chartered Accountant. He serves as independent, non-executive director
at Foord Unit Trusts Limited where he also chairs the audit committee. He is an
executive consultant in the London Cape Town Capital team, a company within the
Pam Golding Group, looking after business sales and acquisitions. Adam has
served on a number of boards both in South Africa and Australia. In Australia
his roles included an executive role with a listed company and financial
director of a leading retailer.
In accordance with the Company`s articles of association, the appointment will
be confirmed at the next general meeting to be held on 19 April 2010.
