Appointment of Directors
The Board of Firestone Energy Limited (ASX/JSE: FSE) wish to announce the
appointment of two new South African based Non Executive Directors to the
Company, effective immediately.
Mr Matsidiso Peter Tshisevhe and Dr Pius Chilufya Kasolo were nominated to the
Board of Firestone Energy Limited as representatives of Firestone`s largest
shareholder Sekoko Resources.
Both gentlemen have had distinguished careers in their respective fields of law
and geology and come to Firestone very highly recommended.
Mr Peter Tshisevhe is a lawyer by profession and has extensive experience in the
fields of mergers and acquisitions, tax and corporate restructuring. Peter has
advised on numerous large transactions including advising the South African
Government on the disposal of their stake in a telephone utility.
Dr Pius Kasolo is a highly credentialed geologist and has extensive experience
in the evaluation and management of mining projects, the formulation of company
strategy, resource optimisation and business process analysis. Dr Kasolo sits on
several boards in South Africa and has published many papers in his field of
geology.
The Board of Firestone welcomes these gentlemen to the Company and looks forward
to working closely with them in achieving the Company`s vision of being a coal
producer in the Waterberg region of South Africa.
