Withholding tax on special dividend
Johannesburg, South Africa - Uranium One wishes to advise its South African
shareholders that, due to a third party administrative error, the special
dividend paid on December 20, 2010 was paid to shareholders on Uranium One`s
South African register without deducting the required withholding tax of 15%.
Affected shareholders will be receiving more detailed guidance from the Company
shortly regarding the return of the withholding tax. The Company regrets any
inconvenience this situation may cause and expresses its appreciation to its
South African shareholders for their cooperation in resolving the matter.
