Management Board Changes at British American Tobacco
Rudi Kindts, Group Human Resources Director, is leaving the Management Board
of British American Tobacco at the end of February 2011 by mutual agreement to
pursue his interests in the Human Resources field elsewhere.
Commenting on the decision, Paul Adams, Chief Executive, said: "I would like
to thank Rudi very much for the contribution to our success that he has made
over his long career with the Group and wish him all the best for the future."
Nicandro Durante, Chief Executive Designate, said a new appointment would be
made in due course. "In the meantime, John Daly, Chief Operating Officer,
reporting to me, will take on additional responsibility for human resources."
