rating as an essential component of its business strategy. As a result of the
way in which the current BEE Codes deal with family trusts Mr Rai`s family trust
("the trust") may not qualify as a black shareholder. In order to ensure that
Cape Empowerment`s status as a black-owned company is maintained Mr Rai has
transferred the shares referred to above from the family trust to his own name.
