CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In terms of paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the Board
of directors of SPAR (`the Board`) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr
Christopher Wells as an independent non-executive director with effect from 1
April 2011.
Mr Wells has been an executive director at Transnet for the past 6 years,
firstly as Chief Financial Officer and for the last 2 years as Acting Chief
Executive. Previously, he held senior positions at Relyant Retail Limited,
McCarthy Retail Limited, Rainbow Chicken Limited and Deloitte & Touche.
The Board would like to wish him well with his new responsibilities.
