DECLARED INTERIM DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON SHOPRITE HOLDINGS LIMITED HOT ENHANCED
DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("SHPIHC")
The Directors of Shoprite Holdings Limited have declared an Interim dividend of
88 cents payable on Tuesday, 22 March 2011 to ordinary holders recorded in the
books of the company at the close of business on Friday, 18 March 2011.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities, SHPIHC
will receive a Shoprite Holdings Limited interim dividend of 88 cents per
security on, Tuesday, 22 March 2011 in terms of the Cession clause incorporated
in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day
to trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the interim cash
dividend will be Friday, 11 March 2011.
SHPIHC Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend
from the commencement of business on Monday, 14 March 2011, and the record date
will be Friday, 18 March 2011.
