DECLARED DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON ANGLO AMERICAN PLC ENHANCED DIVIDEND
SECURITIES - ("AGLIDK")
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of Anglo American plc
have declared a final dividend of 289.06 cents per ordinary share payable on
Thursday, 28 April 2011 to ordinary shareholders, recorded in the books of the
company at the close of business on Friday, 1 April 2011.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Enhanced Dividend Securities, AGLIDK,
will receive an Anglo American plc dividend of 289.06 cents per security on
Thursday, 28 April 2011 in terms of the Cession clause incorporated in the
Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited. The last day to
trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the dividend will be
Friday, 25 March 2011.
AGLIDK Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend from
the commencement of business on Monday, 28 March 2011, and the record date will
be Friday, 1 April 2011.
