CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, the Board of Directors of Merafe (the "Board") is pleased to announce
that Ms Mpho Mosweu has been appointed as non-executive director to Merafe with
immediate effect.
Ms Mosweu was nominated by the Industrial Development Corporation of South
Africa ("IDC") as the replacement for Mr Tlamelo Ramantsi, who resigned from the
IDC and in accordance with IDC policy, resigned from the Board of Merafe in
November 2010.
Ms Mosweu is a Chartered Accountant with a Masters in Business Leadership degree
and has been with the IDC since 2000.She is head of the Corporate and Structured
Finance department at the IDC and has vast experience as a member of Audit and
Risk Committees of various companies.
Merafe would like to welcome Ms Mosweu to the Board.
