ANNOUNCEMENT OF DISTRIBUTION REINVESTMENT RATIO AND CONFIRMATION OF FINALISATION
INFORMATION
Further to the announcement of the declaration of the cash distribution and
distribution reinvestment alternative included in Growthpoint`s annual results
("Results Announcement") released on the Securities Exchange News Service on
Wednesday, 23 February 2011 and in the press on Thursday, 24 February 2011, the
ratio applicable to Growthpoint linked unitholders electing the distribution
reinvestment alternative and recorded in the register on Friday, 18 March 2011,
equates to 3.9444 Growthpoint linked units for every 100 Growthpoint linked
units held ("Ratio").
The price of R16.20 on which the Ratio is based is a 1.3% discount to the 5 day
volume weighted average price (ex the distribution for the half year ended 31
December 2010 of 63.9 cents) as at the close of business on Thursday, 3 March
2011.
The price also equates to a cum price of R16.81 which is a discount of 1.2% to
the 5 day volume weighted average price of R17.01 and a discount of 2.0% to the
closing price of R17.15 on 3 March 2011.
Included in the R16.20 is an antecedent divestiture of 28.7 cents per linked
unit for the period 1 January 2011 to 22 March 2011 in respect of the 2011 final
distribution period 1 January 2011 to 30 June 2011.
The salient dates, timetable and all other information relating to the cash
distribution and distribution reinvestment alternative disclosed in the Results
Announcement remain unchanged.
