Firestone / Sekoko JV lodge Water Use Licence
Firestone Energy Limited (ASX/JSE : FSE) and its Joint Venture partner, Sekoko
Resources, are pleased to announce that the Integrated Water Use Licence
(IWULA) has been completed and submitted to the Department of Water
Affairs(DWAF).
This follows a detailed assessment and planning analysis of water management
and treatment procedures that will enable the Firestone/Sekoko Joint Venture
to use and manage water in mining operations in a manner consistent with the
requirements of South African regulatory authorities.
The submission of the IWULA application highlights the Joint Venture`s ability
to develop solutions which comply with applicable legislation in South Africa
as well as its commitment to commence mining operations that are sustainable,
both from a legislative and environmental point of view.
