CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In compliance with sections 3.84 (c) and 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings
Requirements, shareholders are advised that Mr CF Wiese, currently an
independent non-executive director of Afdawn, has been appointed as lead
independent director to the board of Afdawn with immediate effect.
Mr CF Wiese (67) has served as a non-executive director of the company for 17
months. The board has satisfied itself of Mr Wiese`s independence as outlined in
the Companies Act No. 61 of 1973, as amended, and the King 3 Code on Corporate
Governance.
Additionally, the company has appointed Ms L Taylor, currently an independent
non-executive director of the company, as a member of the audit committee with
immediate effect.
