DECLARED INTERIM DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT ON FIRSTRAND LIMITED HOT ENHANCED
DIVIDEND SECURITIES - ("FSRIHG")
With reference to the dividend announcement, the Directors of FirstRand Limited
have declared an interim cash dividend of 35.00 cents per ordinary share payable
on Monday, 4 April 2011 to ordinary shareholders recorded in the books of the
company at the close of business on Friday, 1 April 2011.
Accordingly, the warrant holders of the Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities,
FSRIHG, will receive a FirstRand Limited interim cash dividend of 35.00 cents
per security on Monday, 4 April 2011, in terms of the Cession clause
incorporated in the Supplement between the holders and Investec Bank Limited.
The last day to trade ("cum" the dividend) in order to participate in the
dividend will be Friday, 25 March 2011.
FSRIHG Hot Enhanced Dividend Securities will commence trading "ex" the dividend
from the commencement of business on Monday, 28 March 2011, and the record date
will be Friday, 1 April 2011.
