APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR
In accordance with section 3.59 of the JSE Limited`s Listing Requirements, SELCo
is pleased to advise shareholders of the appointment to its board of directors,
with immediate effect, of Mr Eckhard Cloete, as Independent Non-Executive
Director and member of the Audit Committee. Mr Cloete holds an MComm degree and
has served as Financial Director of GP Retail Operations (Pty) Ltd for the past
10 years. Prior to that he spent 8 years in the banking sector, variously as
Manager Public Sector Banking, Corporate Banker and in Structured Finance. His
financial and business expertise will stand SELCo in good stead and will serve
to strengthen the Audit Committee.
