APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO VILLAGE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In accordance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, Village shareholders are advised that Mr. Richard de Villiers has
been appointed as Human Resources Director of Village with effect from 18
March 2011.
Mr. de Villiers began his career at Blyvooruitsig mine and has been involved
in the mining industry for the past 40 years. He has a BA (Hons) and Masters
in Management from the University of Witwatersrand, a diploma in Employment
Relations from Stellenbosch and a diploma in Labour Law from UNISA. Mr. de
Villiers previously served on the boards of directors of Harmony Gold Mining
Company Limited, Randgold & Exploration Company Limited, ERPM Limited and
DRDGold Limited.
The board of directors of Village welcomes Mr. de Villiers to the board and
looks forward to his contribution.
