RESULTS OF GENERAL MEETING AND REVISED SALIENT DATES AND TIMES
Shareholders of Village are advised that, at the company`s general meeting held
on Friday, 25 March 2011, all of the resolutions set out in the notice of
general meeting (which formed part of the circular to shareholders dated
Wednesday, 2 March 2011) were passed by the requisite majority of shareholders
present and voting or represented by proxy.
The special resolutions will be submitted to the Companies and Intellectual
Property Registration Office for registration in due course.
CEO of Village, Bernard Swanepoel commented, "We are thrilled with the strong
support received from both sets of shareholders in favour of the transaction.
This support bodes well as we endeavor to create value out of the enlarged
Village entity".
