RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND CHANGE OF NAME
Shareholders are advised that at the Annual General Meeting of Anglo Platinum
Limited held on 28 March 2011, all the resolutions set out in the Notice of
Annual General Meeting were passed by the requisite majority of shareholders
present or represented by proxy. The special resolutions including the change
of the Company`s name to Anglo American Platinum Limited, will be submitted for
registration by the Registrar of Companies. The Company`s abbreviated name will
remain "Amplats", the JSE Code will remain "AMS" and the ISIN will remain
ZAE000013181. Trading under the new name Anglo American Platinum Limited will
commence from Wednesday, 20 April 2011.
