In accordance with the requirements of paragraph 3.59 of the Listing
requirements of the JSE the following should be noted:
Shareholders are advised of the following changes to the Board/Executive team of
Grindrod:
* Laurence Stuart-Hill, Executive Director and Chief Executive of Shipping
(Tankers) has resigned effective 30 June 2011 to pursue other interests;
* Martyn Wade, Chief Executive responsible for Drybulk Shipping will assume
responsibility for all Shipping division activities from 1 July 2011; and
* John Jones, Executive Director and Chief Executive of Logistics retires
effective 31 August 2011 and is replaced by Hylton Gray, a former Managing
Director of Rohlig Grindrod (Pty) Limited. Hylton will take over the
executive responsibility for the division on 1 July 2011.
Laurence and John will not be immediately replaced on the Grindrod Limited
board.
