APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS ("BOARD")
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements,
Omnia is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Daisy Naidoo as an
independent non-executive director to the Board of the Company with immediate
effect.
Daisy is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) and holds a B Com and Post
Graduate Diploma in Accounting as well as a Masters of Accounting degree
(University of Natal). She is a member of the South African Institute of
Chartered Accountants, African Women Chartered Accountants and the Institute
of Directors of Southern Africa.
Daisy worked at Sanlam Capital Markets for more than nine years where she
served, inter alia, as the Head of the Debt Structuring Unit and was appointed
to the sub credit committee of the Sanlam Investment Cluster.
Daisy currently serves as an independent non-executive director on the boards
of Futuregrowth Asset Management (Pty) Limited, Grand Parade Investments
Limited, Strate Limited and Hudaco Industries Limited.
