APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT CHAIRMAN
Excellerate is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Nicholas
Christodoulou as independent Chairman to the Excellerate board of directors
("Board"), with effect from 13 April 2011.
Nick (Bsc Eng (Industrial); MBA) brings a wealth of experience with him and
has held previous positions that include the Chief Executive Officer of the
Development Bank of Southern Africa, General Manager of Sanlam Asset
Management, Chief Executive: Sanlam Employee Benefits, and Chief Executive:
Independent Financial Services. He continues to serve on various Boards
within the Sanlam and JHI Property Management Groups.
The appointment is in line with Excellerate`s aim to achieve the Board
composition as recommended by the revised King Code Report on Corporate
Governance (King III).
The Board welcomes Nick to the Company and wishes him well in his new
position.
